Want to become a personal chef but Confused about pricing? That’s what we’re going to dial in today!

Pricing is a huge roadblock for a lot of people who start becoming a personal chef. That’s why there’s a whole lesson on it in my Personal Chef course.

It goes right with deciding what services you want to do and you know my fav that I recommend to everyone starting out is those regularly schedule clients that you prepare a weeks worth of dinners for. So that’s the pricing we’re going to talk about today.

Most amateurs when they’re trying to get started as personal chefs get really stuck on pricing.

The interesting thing is they’re so worried about pricing too high that they price too low.

Or worse than that, they spend so much time fretting about pricing, and names, and logo and colors that they never even get to the cooking for paying clients part!

And spoiler alert that’s how you actually become a pro personal chef, cooking for paying clients.

So what we’re going to do today is cut through all that crap and get you started with a price for your weekly personal chef services, the absolute fasted way possible.

And that is competitive research.

What this does is give you the best sense of what personal chef pricing is like in your area which is one of the biggest drivers of pricing.

You might not like it but personal chefs in NYC get to charge more than personal chefs in John Day Oregon. That’s just the way it goes.

When you have your pricing dialed in fast then you can move on to the fun part, the cooking for clients who adore you and love your delicious food.

And this is totally easier that you think.

First google personal chef and your city. Literally personal chef seattle or personal chef Madison, wi or wherever you are.

Then start clicking through sites. Now not all personal chefs have pricing on their sites and that’s okay! I just want you to get started with 3-5 so you can get a sense of what pricing for a weekly service is like in your area. That will usually be a five entrée service, like I said a week’s worth of dinners for a family is the basic personal chef service.

That’s the easiest and fastest way to dial in your basic pricing for personal chef services. Of course that’s just the first step and personal chefs also have their services dialed in and you can get the How To Do Weekly Meal Prep guide as part of the prep pack at the link below and you’ll learn exactly how to do weekly meal prep service like a pro.

Remember the clients are out there and they’re hungry for what you’re cooking.
